About this Event
If you register your interest here and live anywhere close to Plymouth I will deliver to you a little container of Ash for you to partake in our online service which will be available all day on our usual online channels (Facebook, Youtube and Twitch)
In order to ensure COVID safety we are taking bookings for our main Christmas services. This will help us to place family bubbles safely in church. There is no charge for attending Mass but we may not be able to admit anyone who has not booked.
Booking a place is simple through Eventbrite, please click on the following links to a place for these services…
- Midnight Mass, Christmas Eve, S. Mary the Virgin, Bickleigh at 11.45pm
- Midnight Mass, Christmas Eve, S. Edward, Shaugh Prior at 11.45pm
- Christmas Day, S. Mary the Virgin, Bickleigh at 9.30am
- Christmas Day, S. Anne, Glenholt at 9.30am
All “tickets” are FREE, this is just so we can seat people safely this year. Please tell others that they need to reserve a seat if they say they wish to come to these Masses.
Regrettably, the Bickleigh Parish Council have decided to withdraw permission for our ecumenical community event for Carols on Roborough Green this year due to (non-COVID-related) safety concerns. The event was being planned under Church of England safety protocols, but the Council felt it could not permit it.

Do you remember when you could get all kinds of gifts ready for Christmas just by popping down to S. Anne’s Glenholt?
Even in the midst of this lockdown, under all these lockdown restrictions, there is a solution:
Glenholt Virtual Christmas Market is here to bring festive cheer to your screens
Saturday 14 November 2020 10.30am to 12.30pm
With many regulars shielding, the market has now moved to the internet. The first “Virtual Glenholt Market” will take via the Zoom video conference platform and also be streamed live on Facebook. Traders will be offering handcrafted items which can be ordered and delivered directly.
To get into the Christmas spirit, there will be a Christmas carol sing-along. Just bring your own mince pies! After the event, all traders can be contacted via the market’s Facebook group. All you need to do to take part is register here:
https://www.glenholtcommunitymarket.co.uk/register.html or on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/groups/glenholtvirtualmarket.
See you there (virtually) tomorrow!
